Our Collection
History is researched, preserved and learned
The Vigo County History Center spans three floors and is home to an impressive archives collection. History is researched, preserved and learned through archives and it's how the museum continues to grow and tell our story.
Acquisition of archives is led by the History Center’s Curator and through the below guidelines.
Please note, donations to the museum will not be accepted “at the door” or without the vetting process. For additional information about archives, donations and artifacts, please click below.
“Without archives many stories of real people would be lost, and along with those stories, vital clues that allow us to reflect and interpret our lives today.”
